The Email Junction

The Problem

The Email Junction needed a logo that could give the brand a distinct and recognisable visual identity. As an email marketing agency serving e-commerce businesses, it needed a mark that could represent the business across its digital touchpoints without relying on the usual email-related symbols.

The challenge was to create something that felt relevant to the industry while giving the brand a visual identity it could call its own.

The Approach

I started by exploring the brand name and its initials, looking for a way to create a distinctive mark without taking the obvious route of using an envelope icon.

The initials E and J became the starting point for the logo. I developed a custom symbol that brings both letters together in a bold, compact form, giving the brand a recognisable mark that can stand independently of its full name.

From there, I built the visual direction around a vivid yellow-green and deep forest green palette. The contrast gives the identity a strong presence, while the typography establishes a clear hierarchy between the symbol and the brand name.

The intention was to create an identity that would be easy to recognise and flexible enough to work across social media, email campaigns, website layouts and other digital applications.

Outcome

A Distinctive Brand Mark: A custom EJ symbol that gives The Email Junction a recognisable visual identifier beyond its full wordmark. A More Ownable Visual Direction: An identity that moves away from conventional envelope icons and explores a more distinctive approach to representing an email marketing agency. A Stronger Visual Presence: A vivid yellow-green and deep forest green palette that creates contrast and helps the brand stand out visually. Clear Brand Recognition: A considered logo lockup that combines the symbol and wordmark into a cohesive identity. Consistency Across Digital Touchpoints: A visual foundation that can be applied across social media, email campaigns, website design and other brand communications. A Flexible Identity System: Core visual elements that can work together or independently, allowing the brand to maintain its identity across different formats and applications.
